Clear Creek Trail System

The Clear Creek Trail System can be accessed less than a mile from the property at the I70/Wadsworth interchange. The Clear Creek Trail runs more than 20 miles from metro Denver, through Wheat Ridge, to Golden along a picturesque creek with views of the North and South Table Mountains. A highlight of the trail is the legendary Coors Brewing Company on the path's western end. The Wheat Ridge Section of the 6.5 mile family-friendly multi-use trail is located just south of Interstate 70 and runs from Harlan to Youngfield Street winding through the scenic Wheat Ridge Greenbelt. The Clear Creek Trail provides numerous conservation benefits and recreation opportunities including biking, walking, kayaking, and bird watching.

32nd Avenue Bike System

one of the key east/west bicycling transit corridors between the mountains and downtown Denver is along 32nd Avenue, through Wheat Ridge, and is 6 blocks south of the property.

The Green on Ridge at 38

“The Green”, is five blocks away from the property and is the unofficial center of the City of Wheat Ridge. The Green plays host to numerous food, drink and other festivals throughout the year, including both RidgeFest the Holiday “Lighting of the Tree”. The Ridge Fest event aims to satisfy enthusiasts of all kinds through diverse offerings like a classic car show, an Artisan Marketplace, a local “Home Brew” tasting contest, cottage foods contests, and local Bluegrass Music. The event typically attracts 2,500 to 5,000 festival goers each year.

City of Wheat Ridge Recreation Center

The City’s recreation center is 2.3 miles west of the Ridge House property and has a variety of fitness and enrichment options including an indoor lazy river, lap pool and pilates studio.
